    Title: CUT & PASTE collage for kids
    Inspired by Henri Matisse  and Romare Bearden

    In this workshop children will create a paper collage using design, colour and shape.

    Fibrant is a collective of Fibre, Textile and Visual artists whose backgrounds include art graduates, art teachers, art therapists and community artists. The group promotes the creative use and exploration of natural and recycled materials.

  • Fibrant – Workshops on the Go | RE-STITCH

    Title: RE-STITCH create recycled fabric works
    Inspired by Louise Bourgeois

    In this workshop participants will make small scale fabric works by turning everyday textiles (including tea towels, clothes and doilies) into something to cherish.

    Re-stitched promotes a better understanding of the processes involved in Bourgeois’ “fabric drawings” and an experience of creating a new treasure out of the everyday. Participants will leave the workshop with a hand stitched textile art piece.

    Inspired by Marcel Duchamp and Pablo Picasso

    In this workshop participants will explore suitcases filled with found objects which they’ll redefine into their own creations and sculptures.
