Fibrant – Workshops on the Go | RE-STITCH
Title: RE-STITCH create recycled fabric works
Inspired by Louise BourgeoisIn this workshop participants will make small scale fabric works by turning everyday textiles (including tea towels, clothes and doilies) into something to cherish.
Re-stitched promotes a better understanding of the processes involved in Bourgeois’ “fabric drawings” and an experience of creating a new treasure out of the everyday. Participants will leave the workshop with a hand stitched textile art piece.
