Art in Action will be performed every Wednesday night from 10 October to 7 November. From 7pm you can walk through Picasso to Warhol and see the art brought to life in visual theatre. This performance is suitable for anyone who enjoys Modern Art or Theatre!
Art in Action includes original works created by an imaginative group of Contemporary Performance students, studying in the School of Communication and Arts at Edith Cowan University. They use drama, comedy, song, music and movement to draw spectators into the world of Modern Art. Aimed to be thought provoking, this performance is seriously playful and playfully serious as it draws inspiration from some of the most influential Modernists of the 20th Century.
Lecturer Dr Alan Hancock directs the show and has co-ordinated the project with Kerri Dickfos, Visitor Development Officer at AGWA.
