The Art Gallery of WA provided a relaxed vibe and candle lit ambience as the James Sandon Trio played at AGWA Nights, last Friday. Music filled the concourse to the delight of jazz enthusiasts who enjoyed a wine and casual viewing of the Picasso to Warhol exhibition.
A passing guest commented, “The Literary Links tour was great! Really interesting, especially as I am more of a reader”.
Guests on the night were treated to a special Literary Links tour of the Picasso to Warhol exhibition, which focuses on an assortment of literature enveloping artists of the 20th century.
When commenting about the fusion of visual art and music, Tom O’Halloran who plays keys for the James Sandon Trio said, “This city has great musicians to draw from. Great atmosphere! Great receptive crowd! Lots of people love music and art”.

Others were heard commenting around the Gallery, “It’s a challenging exhibition, but fun!”
