Musically dexterous indie rockers Joe Black Trio wander a landscape of scratchy Balkan melodies and dusty old swing tunes .
Casting off their classical roots back in 2010, Joe Black Trio have since reveled in the dim lit, dirty bars of the Perth rock scene, regularly playing to an ever-growing group of fans.
Their line-up consists of drums, electric double bass and electric violin – complementing drummer Holly Norman’s light, playful voice. The girls play the hell out of their instruments, ensuring a fast-paced, ferocious performance.
On Friday nights AGWA will feature an array of cultural delights from 5.30pm for you to discover some of the most influential modernists of the 20th Century in an exciting new way. Enjoy the inspiring artwork in Picasso to Warhol, take a Literary Links tour and take in a live performance from some of WA’s most talented musicians.
